I’ve been away from my work for a couple days. Did you notice? No? Well, why should you. I was in Montreal helping my youngest to move. The distance from his old place to his new place is about twenty blocks, but they are Montreal blocks, full of one-way streets and potholes and no parking, so the trip takes much longer than you expect. Multiply by a dozen or more times, and it seems that my whole visit took place in a car piled with boxes.
This is life getting in the way of writing. It happens.
Mel’s last chapter introduces a great plot idea for Autumn, but Cody will ignore it and go off on his own. Will he meet the young Conservatives? Probably not. Gimme a day or two and I’ll get the pages out.
Unless life gets in the way again.
